Governance
Our voluntary board leads our organisation and makes sure we are meeting the standards you expect.
The board comprises six tenants, six council nominees, six independent members, and a parent-board representative from WM Housing Group Limited. Tenant board members are elected by fellow tenants in a secret ballot.
The board is supported by four committees which look at finance and IT, human resources, housing operations and property and investment. The board provides strong and innovative leadership in managing our business. Whitefriars is represented on the WM group board.
At our latest inspection our standard of governance was rated 'Good'.
Our committee membership enables us to benefit from additional tenant membership on our four committees.
