Whitefriars Housing have teamed up with National Probation to provide specialist help to offenders and ex-offenders within the Coventry Area.
Two Officers are working to government guidelines in preventing Homelessness within the city.
Resettlement Officer – Katy Leek
Based at the Chace Hostel, Katy works within the Probation and Employment Team (PET) assisting offenders and ex-offenders who are either homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. This support can range from giving advice on welfare benefits, dealing with former rent or other arrears, or help gaining suitable and stable accommodation within Coventry. Katy works closely with Coventry Probation and all Housing Providers within Coventry both Social and private landlords.

- Prison Housing Officer – Clare Butler
Based part time at HMP Hewell (formerly Blakenhurst, Brockhill and Hewell Grange) and part time at the Chace Hostel. Clare works in partnership with Whitefriars Housing Group, Coventry City Council, National Probation and all other Housing Providers both social and private within Coventry.
Prisoners can access Housing Advice and support while in custody, this can be either helping maintain their current tenancy, closing down tenancies were necessary or assistance in finding suitable accommodation for their release.
Whilst Clare mainly works with offenders and ex-offenders in HMP Hewell, advice and guidance can be give to any person within the prison system as long as they are from the Coventry area.
