Pay your rent

There are lots of ways for you to pay your rent.

The best and easiest way to pay is to set up a:

Direct Debit

The easiest way to set up a direct debit is to ring your rent officer and they can do this for you over the phone.

Alternatively, you can download the form below and send it to your housing office.

 

 

Standing Order

You can pay by standing order which means you pay a set amount every month. Remember though if your rent changes you have to tell your bank to amend the payment. If you don't amend these details you may find yourself getting behind with your rent. You will need to print and complete the Standing Order form and then send it to your bank. To complete the form you will need to know your rent account number, if you do not know what this is then please contact us at your housing office.

 


Using your rent card

You can use your rent payment card at any PayPoint outlet displaying the yellow paypoint sign. 

If you want to use your debit card you can also pay by

  • Calling your housing office during office hours or by ringing our 24 hour Payline on 0844 557 8321

Difficulty paying your rent?

If you are struggling to pay your rent please get in touch with us straight away. We can give you advice on whether you may be entitled to Housing Benefit and other benefits, and help you complete the claim forms. We can make an agreement with you to pay your debt in installments that you can afford and we can put you in touch with specialist advice agencies that help in dealing with money management.
