Whitefriars Housing Group Ltd has a keen interest in tackling anti-social behaviour. As a core member of the Social Landlords Crime and Nuisance Group, we have over ten years' experience of concentrated work on developing, promoting and implementing effective responses to anti-social behaviour. Such responses are reliant increasingly on multi agency working, particularly in relation to those multi issue complaints that require tailored responses coordinated across several agencies.

We have direct membership of the City’s Community Safety Partnership on which we represent the Coventry Consortium of Registered Social Landlords (RSLs). In this capacity, Whitefriars provides members of the RSLs Consortium and of the Community Safety Partnership with access to our expertise, experience and specialist anti-social behaviour resolution services via asb4, our ‘one stop shop’ for anti social behaviour services and remedies.

asb4 is an exciting partnering arrangement between Whitefriars, Cobbetts Solicitors and a specialist investigations agency, launched in Coventry on 4 March 2004.

In what we believe to be a unique arrangement, asb4 brings together in one place all of the skills and expertise needed to provide the full range of anti social behaviour resolution services.

The facilities provided by asb4 are designed to benefit all social landlords, local authorities and their residents. This is particularly the case where, for example, an organisation has insufficient capacity or resources to employ in-house specialists; it can now achieve and deliver the benefits of current best practice through asb4.

asb4 recognises that each situation requires skilled diagnosis and assessment to identify the most appropriate intervention. Specialists are available to design solutions most appropriate to the needs of individual clients.
