Whitefriars Housing Group Ltd Training and Development Agency leads a Coventry-Warwickshire based management group of strategically linked construction employment and training programmes, drawing together a partnership of large and small employers, funders and cross-sector training organisations.

The Agency’s closest working partner is CovWise Ltd, a Coventry based Intermediate Labour Market charitable training operation. CovWise specialises in engaging and developing traditionally excluded people and communities, through its construction and land-based training and development programmes.

Support measures provided to CovWise include Whitefriars’ Chief Executive and Regeneration Manager being CovWise Directors and Trustees, the allocation to CovWise of Works Programme contract works, and the joint delivery and management of programmes including JobCentre Plus’s Ambition Construction national pilot.
