Coventry Consortium of Registered Social Landlords

The
Coventry Consortium of Social Landlords encompasses all of the
registered social landlords managing rented accommodation in
Coventry. Membership includes black, Asian and minority ethnic
landlords.
At the heart of the Consortium's work is the determination to tackle anti-social behaviour and to promote respect amongst communities.
The purpose of the Consortium is to provide:
- A means by which all of its members can engage efficiently and effectively with the Community Safety Partnership
- Access for all of its members to the full range of interventions necessary to tackle anti-social behaviour effectively on behalf of residents.
The Consortium, originally conceived by Whitefriars Housing Group Ltd, was successful in securing Innovation and Good Practice programme funding from the Housing Corporation to develop the project between April 2003 and March 2005.
After successfully completing its development phase, the Consortium secured its long-term future through funding pooled by Consortium members, and a financial contribution from the Coventry Community Safety Partnership.
Since its inception the Consortium has pioneered innovative ways of overcoming the many barriers that housing associations of differing size and geographical spread face when looking to work in partnership with Community Safety Partnerships.
