Creative Problem Solving and Decision Making
On the 12th April 2012, the apprentices took part in a session called 'Creative Problem Solving and Decision Making.'
This training session was held at the Whitefriars Torrington Office in Tile Hill and was about developing an open mind and unleashing our creativity.
It was a very interesting session and the apprentices were taught about the Edward de Bono - 6 Thinking Hats as well as multiple different Mapping techniques.
They created action plans and generated different ideas for different solutions.
They had a timetable for the day which included things like:
- Your personal creativity
- The problem solving process
- Defining the problem
- Generating ideas for solutions
- Evaluating ideas
- Implementing solutions
- 6 Step decision making process.
It was a very interesting day and was a great help for the apprentices. See the pictures below.
