Community and Pride in our Street Grant Schemes
In 2009 Whitefriars launched its grant schemes.
Over the first five years an extra £600,000 will be invested in its communities, funding things that are important to those communities. Customer panels will decide who gets the money. The Pride in our Street award scheme has been split into two different categories.
- Does your group want to run a project for a longer period?
- Does your group want to run a project that includes physical improvements
to your area?
- Your group can apply for funding of up to £5000 from the Pride in our Street fund. Forms are available to download from the 21st June 2010 or contact your local area service manager. See application form on the right for details.
A second scheme called Community Pride sets aside £30,000, in 2010/11, available to community based non profit making groups, with creative ideas, for making a difference.
