Swanswell Regeneration
Swanswell regeneration was a £1 billion, 10 – 15 year project that aims aims to provide 2500 new and better homes, job opportunities and community and health facilities, as well as educational, transport and environmental improvements.
Whitefriars kick started the physical regeneration through the demolition of 7 tower blocks that has paved the way for a state of the art new City College. The remaining tower blocks have undergone extensive refurbishment.
