Older Persons Floating Support Team

If you are over the age of 60 and not living in supported accommodation, which receives funding from the Supporting People Grant, you may feel you need support to sustain living independently in your home.

The Independent Living Team has Support Officers dedicated to working with people in their home to ensure they have access to all the support agencies they are eligible for and that they are receiving all the benefits to which they are entitled. They will assist with advice about security and home safety and encourage a social life.

How much does it cost?

There is no extra cost for this service as it is funded through the Supporting People Grant, and is available to tenants of Whitefriars Housing and private tenants, people living in other housing associations and their own properties.
