The Chace Centre      

The Chace Centre is a direct access hostel. It offers supported temporary accommodation for men over 18 years of age.    

The Chace Centre provides a range of facilities, services and opportunities for people of all ages and is staffed 24 hours a day, all year round. For added security the accommodation blocks and the surrounding grounds are covered by CCTV.  

Facilities include:  

• accommodation blocks
• individual furnished rooms
• communal bathroom, shower room and toilets
• communal sitting room
• inclusive meals served in the Friars Dining Room
• laundry room
• snooker room
• private gardens     

We have Resident Support Officers who can assist residents to:  

• set up bank or Post Office accounts  
• find employment  
• seek education, training and voluntary work opportunities  
• complete Social Fund applications  
• become involved with social activities  
• arrange medical appointments and link with other support agencies  
• seek independent accommodation
