The Chace Centre
The Chace Centre is a direct access hostel. It offers supported temporary accommodation for men over 18 years of age.
The Chace Centre provides a range of facilities, services and opportunities for people of all ages and is staffed 24 hours a day, all year round. For added security the accommodation blocks and the surrounding grounds are covered by CCTV.
Facilities include:
- accommodation blocks
- individual furnished rooms
- communal bathroom, shower room and toilets
- communal sitting room
- inclusive meals served in the Friars Dining Room
- laundry room
- snooker room
- private gardens
We have Resident Support Officers who can assist residents to:
- set up bank or Post Office accounts
- find employment
- seek education, training and voluntary work opportunities
- complete Social Fund applications
- become involved with social activities
- arrange medical appointments and link with other support agencies
- seek independent accommodation
