Number four - knock at your door
Staff at Whitefriars Housing Group are expecting a full house when they kick-off a string of free food and bingo events.
Residents in high rise blocks and sheltered homes across Coventry are being invited to special consultation events, which will include games, sausages and burgers, and the chance to meet their neighbours and talk about the issues affecting them.
A pilot session took place in William Bachelor House in August. More than 40 residents attended.
Whitefriars’ customer involvement team launched the sessions to enable customers to talk about housing improvements, and any other issues facing them.
Joanna Selby, customer involvement officer, said: “It will be a great chance for residents to get out and enjoy some good food and meet people.
“We are running the events over the next few months so we can meet our customers and encourage people to discuss if and where we can improve our service. We will then take action based on those comments and head back into the blocks to inform residents of the changes we have made as a direct result of their comments.
“We also want to encourage people to get more involved in our service improvement groups.”
The customer involvement team wants to know what residents think is the best way to let them know when things may change, what customers think of the organisation’s service improvement groups and if people can join the groups.
The next event is being held at: Harry Stanley House, on October 2, for residents of that sheltered block.
