Recruiting customers to new scrutiny panels
The proposed introduction of an Accountability and Scrutiny panel will bring a completely new opportunity for tenants to influence and hold us to account for our management and performance in the delivery of services.
The panel will challenge managers and the Board; voice the concerns of tenants and their communities; be independent and drive improvement in services through evidenced based challenges on service issues. The panel will link with other important groups within the existing involvement arrangements like the Customer Auditor Team and Customer Service Improvement Groups, both of which have scrutiny within their role.
This voluntary role needs tenants who are fairly confident, can say their piece in a constructive way, can work with others, understand services and priorities for tenants and who are willing to undertake some training to equip them more fully for this challenging and crucial role.
There is a lot of work to do on this, so at this stage we want to hear from tenants who may be interested in being part of scrutinising Whitefriars. So if you are, and want to find out more and/or register your interest in being involved as this comes together over the next few months then phone Lynn Hanson on
