Services where you are – Local offices

To
provide a comprehensive, community based service to our customers,
we reviewed our local office structure and reduced the number of
offices. This was done in order to improve services to residents by
increasing the presence of our officers across all estates and
conducting more home visits. This was in response to the needs and
expectations expressed by residents in the consultation exercise we
carried out.
We now have quality office and reception facilities available to all customers of Whitefriars South through Torrington Avenue, Willenhall (St James Lane), 9 Little Park Street, and Riley Square Bell Green.
The new accommodation has enabled us to deliver reception facilities fully compliant with the Disability Discrimination Act which came into force on 1st October 2004.
The changes mean that we are now operating a new style service, delivering better quality reception and telephone advice through a dedicated Customer Service Team, and improved access to the service for all customers through far more appointments to visit people in their homes.
We've also introduced Estate Teams which include Estate Rangers working more closely with Estate Officers and delivering a greater presence to Whitefriars neighbourhoods.
Along with our Tenant Auditors, we will be undertaking an on-going programme to test customer opinion of the new service, in order to make sure we have got it right, and to provide insight into how it can be improved further.
